Pastoral Theology

The Pastoral Theology stream explores the foundational texts, traditions, and theological heritage of Shi’a Islam, examining both classical scholarship and contemporary questions of faith and practice. Drawing upon the Qur’an, the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (ṣ), the Ahl al-Bayt (ʿa), and the rich intellectual tradition of Shi’a scholarship, it seeks to deepen understanding of core theological doctrines while addressing the pastoral, ethical, and spiritual challenges faced by Muslims today.

Through rigorous research and accessible scholarship, the stream aims to bridge the classical tradition with contemporary lived experience, equipping individuals, communities, and religious leaders with principled guidance rooted in the Shi’a intellectual heritage.
