Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings be upon Muḥammad and his pure and immaculate family. God, the Mighty and Majestic, said in His noble Book: “They desire to extinguish the light of God with their mouths, but God will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers may detest it.”11 al-Ṣaff: 8.
Our discussion, God willing, in this lecture revolves around Imam al-Mahdī (a.s.). The study of the idea of Imam al-Mahdī has multiple aspects and dimensions, and I have selected for you to discuss one of those aspects, which is the aspect of the birth of the Imam (a.s.). In this lecture, I will establish the birth and refute any doubt concerning it.
